Join me as I guide you through the research highlights of this year. I have designed a participative performance to walk through the story of empathy (as opposed to similar concepts). Empathy infusions, as I call them, provide a ‘how-to’ guide for the performance of empathy, thus filling a gap in empathy research viz. of the performativity of empathy. As concerns the social context, while the treatment for leprosy is known, mental leprosy is prevalent in the forms of prejudice, stigma, fear. I propose empathy infusions, which employ multiple artistic means, as a possible cure for mental leprosy.
